2012 In Review

2012 In Review

As I logged into WordPress for the first time this year, I was greeted by a fun surprise. They automatically generated a year in review of The Adventures of Amelia, allowing me (and now you) to see the best moments from 2012. I really loved the way they broke it down. It made me feel more successful than I actually am, so I’ll take it!  I won’t lie though — when they opened up with stats about Mt. Everest, I was instantly consumed by envy and had to read it a few times to wrap my head around the idea. I want to be one of those 600 people, dammit!  We’re only in January, so it’s not completely out of the question, is it?

I just wanted to share this with my followers, as the stats reflect your support for me, my writing, my photos — whatever it is that brings you here. Thank you for all of the support, reads, clicks and comments in 2012.  I’m working on my first post for 2013 as you read, so stay tuned.

Here’s to another kick ass year full of more travel, adventures and laughs. See you out there, world!  Click here to see how the blog did in 2012.

Hi Em, What a job WordPress did. It looks like the beginning of travel documentary(I guess it is,isn’t it? I’ll be sure that my Em sees it. She’ll be thrilleed with the continued link to Alex and Ani. Love, Kathy

So glad you’re still following, Kathy! I know my posts are few and far between, so I love to know when people are still following. One of my best days was because of Alex & Ani! Be sure to pass that along to them. And actually, it was my best day, but because of timezones and the clock hitting midnight too quickly on the east coast, it doesn’t register that way. But just know, that it was hands down my best day with 300 views!
